Join the LifeTheme Live Event May 15-16!
After four successful virtual LifeTheme cohorts, we’re thrilled to announce that we’ll be doing our very first in-person LifeTheme event THIS SPRING!
Join Mike & Rachel as they lead the very first in-person LifeTheme Live Event, where attendees will be led through the entire LifeTheme process over a period of two days.
The event will take place in Appleton, WI at the Menlo Park Coworking space. It’s a bright and modern coworking space with big floor-to-ceiling windows that overlook the scenic Fox River. It’s the perfect place to do the kind of thinking and reflecting required to dial in your LifeTheme and personal core values.

The hotel is located just steps from the coworking space, as well as great coffee and wood-fired pizza.

- Dates: May 15-16

- Hotel Location: Marriott Courtyard Appleton Riverfront, 101 Riverheath Way, Appleton, WI 54915
- Cost: $399/person (the cost is just for the event, though we do have a block of rooms reserved at a special rate for LifeTheme Live Event attendees)
Agenda
Here’s the full agenda for the event:
- Wednesday, May 14: Travel to Wisconsin (the Appleton airport is about 15 minutes from the hotel/event space and is very easy to get in and out of.)
- Thursday, May 15: All-day event starts at 9am. There will be an hour-and-a-half lunch break, and we’ll wrap up by 5pm. We’ll have a group dinner around 6pm, and you’ll be back at the hotel by around 8pm.
- Friday, May 16: All-day event starts at 9am. Again, there will be an extended lunch break and we’ll wrap up the event by around 5pm. The evening will be free for you to decompress before traveling home the next day.
- Saturday, May 17: Travel home.

Q: What is a LifeTheme?
A LifeTheme is a one-sentence personal mission statement. It encapsulates what your life is all about, is used to create motivation to follow through on the things that are important, and is a filtering mechanism for removing the things that aren’t.
Q: Why a LifeTheme Live Event?
We’ve found from doing four of these cohorts that the best part of the experience is sharing your progress and getting live feedback. We’ve seen how powerful this can be in a virtual environment, and believe the in-person event will allow us to be even more effective when crafting our LifeThemes together.
Q: Why is this event less than the price of the virtual cohort?
We’ve always wanted to do a live LifeTheme event, and we want to make this first one as accessible as possible. We recognize that it’s a significant investment to take time off and book travel to and from Wisconsin, so we’re pricing this where we don’t actually make much but we still have a budget where we can offer a great experience for those who decide to join us.
Q: Who will be leading this event?
Mike & Rachel Schmitz will be leading this LifeTheme Live Event together, just like the live cohorts. They will be hosting the event together and will be coordinating dinner for the group on Thursday night.
Q: Will this be worth my time?
I’ve seen how powerful a LifeTheme (or personal mission statement) can be in creating motivation to take consistent action on what’s important and providing clarity to cut the things that aren’t. If you feel like you could benefit from a little more focus in your life, and it’s important to you to live a life in alignment with your vision & values, this event will be a worthwhile investment.
Q: Is there a refund policy?
There will be no refunds for this LifeTheme live event, but if the completely unforeseen happens and the event must be cancelled (i.e. when COVID-19 shut everything down), we will refund the full cost of the event (but not the airfare or hotel).
